Two areas to Blog!

Hello.

Some of you might have noticed that we tend to do all our blogging on the LGFL blog area.  I will be giving the children their login details for using this area before the end of half term, that way the children have 2 different platforms to use but both will be just as secure and safe to use.  There's not much difference between each platform except you can create an Avatar within this platform!

If you're ever unsure where to go for the latest blog posts, please just look at our websites notice board or click on the link that we tweet.

Thank you

Digital Leaders E-Safety Survey

Hello Bloggers,

Myself and the Digital Leaders will be meeting later this week to create a survey for Southborough Children (probably only KS2) regarding e-safety, we want to find out what you are all confident with, what you are unsure of and if you know what to do if you encounter problems.

Looking forward to receiving completed surveys so that we can put up some helpful e-safety videos onto the schools website for you and for your parents.

Have a great week.

Scratch Project

The Digital Leaders have been working hard this afternoon, they have added to the Maths games for young children that Bromley High DLs started.  The next step is for Poverest DLs to finish these games off and then we will arrange an Assembly where the DLs from all schools will show you the finished games.

Digital Leaders

I am very excited to announce that Southborough now has Digital Leaders.

They will be introducing themselves and telling us what they will be doing very soon, on their own blog area.

Make sure you take a look.

Still Enjoying reading blogs

Well, can you believe January is nearly over? Next week it will be February!  I have been very busy lately and have not had time to write any blogs but I have had time to approve all the fantastic blogs and comments that the amazing children of Southborough have posted and I am still enjoying reading them.

I encourage all staff, pupils and parents to take a look - I guarantee you will be fascinated, not only by what different classes and year groups are learning about but by what we get up to in our spare time!  We have a few budding gymnast's who often blog about the competitions they have been in, we have at least two children who compete in Motocross racing and have their own motor bikes.

We also have musicians, runner's, story tellers and much, much more.

So, what are you waiting for?  Take a look, leave a comment and enjoy.
